Why doesn't √(n-1)+ √(n+1) being rational directly imply that both √(n-1) and √(n+1) are rational? Is there any condition where addition of two pure irrationals results in a rational number?
Is there any other way to do it n why you used this method how do we know that we have reciprocal it and then use elimination method plz explain....

it didnt come in the exams people ..now i am in class 12 and didnt see this question in this year's 10th and the previous year's 10th board exam...tho it can be found in rd sharma..school board might put ...but no schol board from this session ..hence ..hardly any chance ..if u r doubtful of having such type of questions..do the optionals and try to see the solutions of examplar....thnk u
